How do we repair the Xbox One Face Plate or Power Board?
The first thing we do before any repair is test the console to confirm the fault. We clean out any dust as we go. We then proceed to open the Xbox One and gain access to the front panel. We inspect the ribbon cable which controls the buttons for any tears or other damage.
We will replace the power flex cable if necessary. If the buttons still don't work or the console continues to make beeping sounds like the buttons are being pressed, we will swap out the power board too.
Once the repairs are complete we will reassemble the Xbox. We will then test our repair a number of times on our testing bench prior to releasing it for dispatch.
