What causes the Nintendo Switch Card Reader fault?
The main reason we see Nintendo Switch with card reader faults coming in are caused by accidental damage. If a Game Card or SD card isn't inserted perfectly straight it can dislodge the pins that make contact with the card.
The headphone socket is on the same internal assembly so if your console isn't working with headphones, this repair will cure that fault too.
