A Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel in Manchester enquired about iPod repairs. They use iPod Touch 4th generations with their housekeeping staff to delegate rooms for cleaning. The iPods had various faults from bad batteries to broken screens. We quoted and got the order. We fixed the consignment of 32 iPods the same day we received them and dispatched them on an overnight delivery. Our customer was delighted with the service.
We were approached 2 years ago by a CEX franchisee who has a number of shops across the midlands. They were using another supplier for their repairs who were taking too long to return items, were pushing prices and had a low repair success rate. This led to the franchisee to seek another repair business. They were looking for someone who could repair any faulty returns that their stores received, but also advertised a repair service. We were compared to other companies and won the business. We get regular orders of around 20+ consoles a fortnight and our prices mean that the franchiser also makes money on top of our prices.
A local motorbike repair and sales shop had a consignment of Sat Navs that they had bought at auction. Many of these were physically damaged. We were able to repair them and refurbish them to a grade A standard. They were sold in his shop and he was still able to make a profit.
